Two Day Awareness Training Course

Who is this course for?

This course is designed to meet the needs of people who find themselves spending time without easy access to the emergency services/hospital.

The training can be used as an overview for those going on short or low risk journeys or as an introduction to other courses.

What do you cover?

The delegates receive instruction in:

• Action in event of an emergency;

• Responding to the needs of someone taken ill;

• Responding to the needs of a casualty who is unconscious;

• Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation;

• Treating wounds including bleeding;

• Movement of casualties;     

• On going casualty care when help is delayed;

• Triage of casualties;

• Road Traffic Collisions (RTCs).
