Training Course

Who is this course for?

This one day course is suitable for workplaces with a low level of both risk and of staff. Designed to enable the delegate to respond promptly, safely and effectively in the event of an emergency, this course includes the subject matter recommended for the appointed persons training as laid out in the First Aid regulations 1981.

What do you cover?

On this one day course your delegates receive instruction in the full HSE syllabus, including:

• Scene safety/assessment;

• Importance of basic hygiene in first aid;

• Treatment of someone who is unconscious;

• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR);

• Treatment of wounds, such as bleeding, burns and breaks;

• First aid to someone choking;       

• Role of the workplace first aider.

Each delegate receives:

• Latest edition course manual

• Resuscitation face shield

• Pocket aide memoir

• Certificate
